I grew up watching my grandmother cook with patience, care, and absolutely no shortcuts. What stayed with me most was how thoughtfully she chose every ingredient. She believed good food started long before cooking began. It began with the right ingredients.

Over time, that changed. Food became faster, sweeter, and far more processed, especially mithai. It started to feel like you had to choose between taste and trust. As a mother, that never felt right to me. I wanted my children to enjoy the foods we grew up loving without compromise. That’s what led us to create Wholicious, mithai made with real ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and flavours that still feel joyful and indulgent.

Wholicious began with a simple belief: the food you love shouldn’t come with trade-offs. You shouldn’t have to compromise on taste, ingredients, or how you feel after eating it. We wanted to create mithai that felt just as satisfying and celebratory, but made with greater care and honesty.

So we went back to the basics. Better ingredients. Thoughtful sourcing. Cleaner processes. No unnecessary shortcuts or confusing labels. We didn’t reinvent mithai, we simply brought it closer to what it was always meant to be. Familiar, delicious, and made with intention.
